Reason #783:
Because over time, I have only become increasingly convinced that if we
(the Popps.) can do it, anyone can do it.
But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.
2 Corinthians 12:9
Yes, I know there are so many reasons to foster. I love your blog. I am just about to have my second home study and I still need to submit a few documents to become a certified foster parent. However, I am a single mother, full-time high school English teacher...and I am beginning to worry if I will have the energy and the emotional resources to do this job I do feel like I was called to do. I lack any kind of support system. Just wondering...I'm in desperate need of some feedback. Blessings to you, Cynthia
ReplyDeleteHey I say the same thing! If WE can do it...
ReplyDeleteFor some reason people think that foster parents are "different" than they are. And we are, just because we jumped through the hoops to get licensed but other than that we're normal people who said yes.
