Project 365 – Week…uummm…

So this is my Project 365 post for the past, say, four weeks.  I really am going to get back on the ball with all this.

Me and my favorite Hannah B.  Love this girl.

Snugglin’ my daddy and my baby.

IMG_0127

A terrible quality picture of my husband and I on a date.  But those are always worth documenting.

“I LOVE TO SWING!”

Life is very hard, you know.

Especially now that I’ve learned how to throw fits.

Ava: What is she doing????

And my Grandma.

Sylvie’s first trip to Shakespeare’s Pizza.  Definitely a momentous occasion.

Because Shakepeare’s is just that good.

Sylvie giving her cousin Timmy some love.

IMG_6203.CR2 Just swingin.  (This is right before I dumped us both off onto the ground.)

Sylvia seems just as enthusiastic about reading the Wall Street Journal as her daddy is.

Maybe I should be worried.

Project 365 – Week 26

Major Fail.  We lost the charger for our good camera….so until we get a new one we’re left to the iPhone for pictures.  Boo.  Anyway….GREAT week.

Sylvie girl loves the swings now.  I’m pretty sure we hit ‘em up three times just this weekend.

We got to go to a party for a friend’s 3rd birthday.

Sylvie and her friend Zack had lots of fun in the water.

Who are those monkeys in that tree?  Can you see them?  Do you recognize those beautiful faces?

My sewing machine broke this week. (Actually my mom’s sewing machine.  I guess I should give her a call and let her know.)  It would be very, very sad – except that my wonderful husband bought me a NEW ONE!

IMG_0063

This is me marveling  over this wonderful piece of machinery.

I’ve never been so in love with an inanimate object.

Sylvia has just really started getting into her baby doll.  She gives it to me to pat, hold, and kiss, and then it’s her turn.  It’s really very cute.

And sometimes I get a little snuggle in there too.  Which is just the absolute best.  Love that girl.

August 3, 2010

I had forgotten what this felt like.

This week has been a week of discovery.  A week of learning new things.  In fact, I've learned three new words this week (or at least words I haven't used in a long time.).

Rest: \ˈrest\  : freedom from activity or labor b : a state of motionlessness or inactivity c : the repose of death  : peace of mind or spirit  : something used for support  : free of anxieties

lots of this.

coming in the form of books.  lots of books.  read the books.  love the books.

re·lax: \ri-ˈlaks\  : to make less tense or rigid  : to relieve from nervous tension  :of a muscle or muscle fiber : to become inactive and lengthen : to seek rest or recreation  : to attain equilibrium following the abrupt removal of some influence

lots of this.

coming in the form of sewing for fun, lovin' on my Sylvie girl, seeing my family, and eating at resteraunts without fear that anyone under my supervision is going to have a complete meltdown and do something completely inappropriate before I can get out the door.

re·ju·ve·nation:  \ri-ˌjü-və-ˈnā-shən  : to make young or youthful again : give new vigor to b : to restore to an original or new state

lots of this.

coming in the form of said rest and relaxation, having time to think, and not being yelled at every five minutes.

ahhhhhhhhhhh.
